In this site you will find useful infos about climbing (and not only as time goes by) in the area of Epirus.

Epirus is the west part of Greece. It contains the perfectures of Ioannina, Preveza, Arta and Thesprotia (Igoumenitsa).
The city of Ioannina is the so called "city of legend and tradition". Apart from the climbing sites it has many more interesting sites for someone to see. A climber can come with his family and spend the holidays in the area doing all sorts of things. Sightseing, visiting museums, archelogical sites, bike riding, horse riding, mountaineering, rafting, cayak and of cource climbing.
The night life is also good. Ioannina has a university with more than 20.000 students.
